Come see the Mayhew Magic this summer!

What is bug juice and what does it have to do with the boys enrolled to come out this summer for the Mayhew Island Challenge? Would you like to know what the Island portion of our year-round program is all about? The Mayhew boys would love to show you and tell you themselves - in person!

If you are planning on being in the Bristol area in July or August, we invite you to join us on an Island visit where you can see our counselors and boys engaging in activities that encourage young New Hampshire boys to engage in the Mayhew community while challenging themselves in new ways.

Island visits take place several days a week. Each tour can accommodate up to 8 people. Visits are an excellent way to learn more about what happens on the Island and see your contributions in action.

After gathering at the base house, you will be escorted on a brief walk to the boat dock, where you will board a pontoon boat for the short trip to the island. While on an island visit you will be able to walk the Island facility, observe boys engaged in some daily activities and participate in lively conversations over lunch with the Mayhew boys before your boat ride back to the shore. Your visit is expected to last a few hours, starting at 10:30 am and ending around 1:00 PM.

Want to know more? Come and see for yourself what happens when 42 boys from all over New Hampshire come together to learn to believe in themselves, work well with others and find their absolute best! The bug juice will be waiting!

Please note that family members and guardians are asked to avoid visiting the session that their Mayhew boy is in.
