Household Situation:

Need more information. Child lives with Mother as primary parent but Dad is also listed as guardian living in the same home. Reported that Gabe is closer to Mom than his Dad. Mother would be able to provide more accurate mental health status and past relational history. To report the student is an only child.

Organizations / Mentor Programs:

Would qualify and be a match for Dartmouth SIBS program, but not participating at this time. Unaware of any organizations or mentoring programs.

Special Assistance:

The child is not on an IEP or Section 504 plan. The child on occasion requires School Counselor visits, social-emotional coaching from teacher, and monitoring for mental health status. Child has yet to use the resource room this year (student support center).

Remarks:

I need to follow up with this student's teacher and parent to gain more information. Student continues to be a red flag for mental health concerns, but nothing significant in the educational space. Student would greatly benefit from gaining strong and supportive friendships and real life experiences to gain self-esteem and concept.
